2. Business Description
Crualitics is an AI-powered mental wellness platform. Users engage in supportive conversations, journaling, life assessments, and personal-development tools as part of a structured self-improvement journey. Crualitics is a wellness support tool and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health treatment.
3. SMS Program Description
Crualitics uses SMS (sent via Twilio) for two purposes: (1) account-security messages such as one-time passcodes, and (2) optional wellness reminders for users who explicitly opt in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
4. Who Receives Messages & Why
- Account Security Codes: Sent to any user who provides a phone number, when they request a password reset or identity verification. These are transactional and not optional.
- Optional Wellness Reminders: Sent only to registered users who check the optional opt-in box (daily check-ins, journaling nudges, goal-deadline reminders).
- Crisis Support: If crisis-level content is detected in a user's wellness session, a one-time message with emergency resources may be sent.
5. How Users Opt In
Users opt in on the Crualitics web registration form at https://www.crualitics.com/start. The user enters their phone number and is shown SMS consent disclosures. Optional wellness reminders require the user to actively check a separate, unchecked opt-in checkbox. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. A static representation of that opt-in section is shown below for reviewer verification.

Daily check-ins, journaling nudges, and goal reminders. Security codes are always sent regardless of this choice. Text START to re-enable or STOP to cancel anytime.

7. Message Frequency
Account-security codes are sent only when requested by the user. Optional wellness reminders are sent up to approximately once per day and are user-configurable. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

- Verification / password reset (OTP): "Your Crualitics verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
- Daily check-in / wellness reminder: "Alex! This is your daily reminder to journal your emotions in Crualitics. Take a moment for yourself today. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
- Journaling reminder: "Hi Alex! Your daily reminder to pause and connect with your feelings. How are you doing? Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
- Goal deadline reminder: "Alex, your goal "Morning Run" deadline is today! Time to take action and make it happen. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
- Crisis resource message: "Alex, we're here for you. If you're in crisis, please reach out: National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 988. You matter and you're not alone. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
9. Opt-Out (STOP) Instructions
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all non-security SMS messages. Reply START to opt back in to optional wellness reminders. Account security codes (password reset OTPs) are essential to account security and cannot be opted out of.
